Search for the Authentic Bacolód Inasal in Manila

No food excites a Bacoleño and a Negrénse more than Bacolod City’s famous chicken inasal. Last week, the chicken inasal fever caught on to me as a fellow Negrénse-Manilan and Negros Blogger Lloyd Tronco shared to me a blog about Authentic Chicken Inasal. Apparently, it was about the recent poll made in the Bacoleño Online Community “You Know You’re From Bacolod City, Philippines If…” that adjudged Chicken House as the best Chicken Inasal in town with Manokan Country brands like Nena’s and Aida’s coming in second and third place respectively. Indeed, I have a lot of fond memories about Chicken House and how tenderly juicy their inasal is. Chicken House has branches North, Central, South and East of Bacolod, no West of course for that already is the Guimaras Strait, all of which earned their place as the pilgrimage sites of good quality chicken inasal. As I am already living in Manila, I miss the taste of authentic chicken inasal most of the time.

There are a number of Inasal Restaurants in Manila, both Manila-grown and branched from Bacolod, that claim to capture the genuine Bacoleño Taste of Inasal. I am here to put their claims to the test. Culminating in the latter part of this month, I will launch my Authentic Bacolód Inasal Search savoring different Chicken Inasal Brands all over Metro Manila from Novaliches to Alabang and even nearby areas of the Greater Metropolitan Manila Belt in Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite and Laguna. Of course, my family would be my partners in this search but since none of them blogs yet, I need the assistance of my fellow bloggers. If you are a blogger or a potential blogger and is interested to partner with me in this Blog Series, you may either comment here with your E-mail and Contact Number or Direct Message on Twitter. Blogs will be posted in WordPress (this site) and in Tumblr.

Actually, we need not look further for the best tasting Bacolód Inasal for the authentic yumminess will knock on our doors in Rockwell Tent, Makati City. Do you ever wonder how you can promote Bacolod City and Negros Occidental Tourism, at the same time spreading love of Authentic Inasal, in your own personal capacity? Blogging with us in Negros Bloggers or Discussing with us in Skyscrapercity Bacolód are the two best ways. On September 30, 2011 at Rockwell, Skyscrapercity Bacolód and Negros Bloggers will be gathering the Negrénse Community in Manila for our First Kasimanwa Fellowship, a dinner night of fun and bonding among the Negrénse kasimanwas together with our guest from various blogging organizations in Metro Manila. If you are a Negrénse or a Blogger, you are welcome to join us but first, confirm your attendance on our Events Page. Kari na!
